Artist's Description
I had planned to paint the lights of the fair but they turned the lights out halfway through my painting. As I drove away, I spotted this much better view. It was raining and I painted from under the cover of an awning across the street. It won 2nd place in the Kinston Plein Air competition.
About Christopher Reid
Christopher Reid is an international artist painting in pastel, watercolor, and acrylic. He paints everything from portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and pets in his contemporary realist style. His art has won numerous international awards. He travels all over the world painting en plein air as often as possible, exhibiting, and sharing his passion for art with others through teaching workshops.
