This is fabulous .. how do you store pastel paintings?
Christopher Reid replied:
Thank you. I wrap unframed paintings in glassine and store flat in an acid-free box. I prefer to store them in frames, but this keeps them safe too. Glassine is like an acid-free wax paper and you can use grease-proof wax paper from the grocery store if you don't have any. The main thing is that the surface doesn't move against the painting much and that it is smooth so it doesn't attract any pastel dust. Hope this helps :)
