Description
I painted this first thing in the morning during the Southport Plein Air Paint Out. It won 2nd Best In Show. It was a beautiful morning and I was painting under the shade of ancient oak trees near the old fort. As boats went by I would try to capture them as quickly as possible. The ferry came at just the right time for me to add it.
