Title
Protea Pinks
Artist
Christopher Reid
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
Proteas are the national flower of South Africa and are indigenous to the region where I live. They have large bold blossoms that last for a long time when cut. I find it fascinating that something so delicate looking must be burned by fire for their seeds to germinate.

Beautiful Christopher! I love Proteas and did not know the seeds needed burning! I guess PHOENIX should be its middle name then! Lovely piece L/Fave TWT @ArtsyBoomer_TX
