Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the side of Table Mountain has some spectacular views of the cliffs above. When coming around this path, I was able to see around the end of Table Mountain to Devil's Peak and loved the way the trees and shadows framed the view.

Christopher Reid

Christopher Reid is an international artist painting in pastel, watercolor, and acrylic. He paints everything from portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and pets in his contemporary realist style. His art has won numerous international awards. He travels all over the world painting en plein air as often as possible, exhibiting, and sharing his passion for art with others through teaching workshops. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Chris studied art at the Savannah College of Art & Design(Savannah, GA). He lives in Hermanus, South Africa, inspired by the local landscapes, people, and wildlife. At an early age Chris wanted to be a comic book illustrator.
